Paul Manship's Prometheus sculpture at Rockefeller Center is accompanied with a quote from Aeschylus, "Prometheus, teacher in every art, brought the fire that hath proved to mortals a means to mighty ends". The fire of the Gods in the hands of humans is a gift that is both a productive tool and a destructive weapon.

Created for the Minuteman Bike Path, this piece was a cluster of domiciles, walkways and ladders in the sky. Some of the buildings were reflective of architectural styles; Gothic, Medieval, Mission, Classic New England, but the majority were simply fantasy.

Consists of over 200 ceramic mushrooms scattered upon the underbrush on the side of a hill.
Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston, MA
2006
An examination of how the places people dwell-both before and after death-reflect their lives and personalities. Cast concrete replicas of homes previously occupied by some of those interred at the cemetery are arrayed on a rock outcropping within the cemetery. The styles of the homes range from Queen Anne mansion to a modern split level. Each building has the occupation of the owner etched into it.
Meditech, Fall River, MA
2008
Created in collaboration with Melissa Ranahan, the artwork climbs the wall of a four story atrium of a private corporation. The title is a Native American word meaning, “land of falling river”.
